"THRIVING" THROUGH PRAYERS WITH HIM

I Thessalonians 5:16-18
"Be joyful always; pray continually;give thanks in All circumstances, for this is God's Will for you in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Prayer...a generation of Love for His Word.  It becomes sometimes, "unspeakable joy"!  

I called a dear friend of mine who also has aphasia.  She had a stroke 12 years ago.  Although she has spent numerous hours with a Speech Pathologist and many "helps" to overcome this trial...her speech is very daunted, slow, and sometimes difficult to understand.  Yet, when we speak, I know she needs my speech to be more at her level for understanding.  She and I became friends through ARC.  I made mention of playing the game called "Charades" in the beginning portion of my aphasia after brain surgery... this caused some fun and enjoyment while slowly improving.  She saw this comment from me and responded...Joan, my name IS Charade!  We have been "kindred spirits" since that time.  And we pray....

There is a special woman whom I met yesterday...my heart cries out for her!  Diane, has some type of neurology problem and is still undiagnosed for now.  She was wrapped in "fear" of the unknown.  I spoke with her, she shared her "gift" of writing with me, but now seems so unattached.  Her husband was by her side.  His eyes looking at mine were a silent echo of please...please "help" her.  We shared our pain, our hope, our love of this "gift".  I shared His Love, His Light, His Joy..held her hand..asking the Lord to guide us in "understanding".  And we pray....

Prayers...praying everyday...all day...when we wait on appointments, wait on a stop light, when we wait....we can pray!  Thinking about the "wait time", it is not so bad after all; it can bring the precious time to remember ...to PRAY!  

Psalm 42:8  "By day the Lord directs His Love, at night His song is with me - a prayer to the God of my life."

The latest and again most wonderful news on "this side of Heaven" to provide the hope towards healing!  The "Florida Times-Union" newspaper article by Charlie Patton, is above this sentence.  God is increasing the "gift" He gave Dr. Ricardo Hanel, this time through a new Clinical Trial to treat aneurysms in large blood vessels of the brain.

I am always "amazed" at the mornings I go for my treatments at Baptist Health Center in Jacksonville, FL.  The buildings are composed with a "sister" relationship right next to each other.  Lyerly Neurosurgery, Wolfson's Children's Hospital, and the support areas to include Pharmacy. They even have a Library with some helpful reading materials and a quiet place to pray in a small Chapel.  Each morning, I am greeted with smiles from the Staff, Doctors, and Nurses, it feels like a bit of "Heaven" to walk for my coffee.

Encouragement is always available here!  Questions are answered at their best.  There are always questions that need a bit of "research" as well.  One of my nurses is helping with that on our Idiopathic Hypertrophic Cranial Pachymeningitis page in Facebook.  She has already posted over 4 new reports of information that we patients have been able to use.

Without having the current permission of posting the more specifics on so many, I will ask for it and post if possible about the "angels here, on this side of Heaven"!

Today, I mentioned something after my HBOT treatment that came to my mind.  My doctor was in the chamber area with someone else, and he seemed interested to my proposal; a possible answer of a difference I am experiencing.  He said with a smile, yes, we ought to try this.  So, when the trial is over, I will have something "hopeful" to post on again, later.

HE LEADS WITH HIS HEART....TRUSTED FROM LOVE

2 Corinthians 4:6
"For it is our God who commanded light to shine out of darkness,  who has shown in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

Every once in awhile, there are times in our lives when He says, you need to go somewhere else for a time, to take care of His Plan for you.  Suddenly, and without much of a moment more than "silence", I had to make this decision.  I prayed.  I prayed again, I walked with Him through the darkness surrounded with His lighted areas.  And, I prayed again.  The answer came from His heart to mine.  I needed to leave Jacksonville to take care of other areas in my life.  And so very abruptly, I did.

I trust Him!  I Love Him!  I followed His course and the areas of a situation became blessed in the end.  Some needs require only you to follow.  You and Him.  There will always be these times He may need something addressed.  If we follow His heart with ours, then the Blessings are set before us, and we can carry on.

The list of priorities on this journey remain the same.  His healing is already started through my trusted Doctors and Medical Care in Jacksonville.  So, that is on His course with a few minor changes occurring.  Most importantly, is continuation of His Purpose.  All the other parts, I have laid at His feet, because I do not "control" those destinies; He does!

This time became a "resting" place for me...for a short time.  It was like Him telling me, "be still" and know ME!  The time I was able to spend with my children and grand-children lightened my heart!  Prayers with them and many of my friends as well, gathered His strength for me.

And then...yet again, there are His Angels among us!  Sharing their strength, their love, and their hearts in times of need.  The very part of my blog here, became at "risk" and although, it may not seem like much to many, this is a part of what He wants me to share, it is full of His truth and trust!  Through many attacks on this site and many other areas as well, He sent His angels to help!  I am so thankful and full of "joy" to experience this help and almost ethereal love.

This sharing is a continuing part of me....and Him!  From the depths of my heart and soul and spirit through prayers with Him, my life continues.  I will "never" give up, not on my journey that is so guided by Him.

I have always wanted to see the Aurora Borealis. Perhaps someday, He will allow this to happen!  He created it through His "hearted" Love for us, it is filled with light He created!  He will always shine through the darkness!  There is no mystery about Him!

Philippians 1:3-7
"I thank my God upon every "remembrance" of you, (America), always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy; for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a "good work" in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the "defense and confirmation" of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of Grace."

This morning, I prayed for many needs.  I prayed for the remembrance of this Country, and my own sweet loved ones.  On this day, America, again is recalling the heightened measures our country has experienced.  He is watching over every one in this World.  May the joy, peace, love, and determination never fail our "America" that was built upon His Word.  It is with the unfolding of His Love and Light that extended so much to the World itself.

In Remembrance, early, when the stars had twinkling still shining, I lit my candles for my loved ones with another...and most especially mentioned the America we so love.  He is with us always....never give up the hope that travels along our pathway called Freedom.

WAITING ON OUR FAITH JOURNEY

Psalm 59:16-17
"But I will sing of your strength, in the morning, I will sing of your Love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.  O my Strength, I sing praise to You; You, O God, are my fortress, my Loving God".

When our circumstances are somewhat challenging along with the weakness through healing, we need to always remember, He is our Strength.  Patience is a virtue, but how many times have we become so impatient.  God has His Perfect Timing for everything.

In today's world, with all the "speed" of everything around us, it becomes difficult to "wait on the Lord".  We have "fast food", "fast cars", "wifi increases", and so much more.  The terminology of "watch and wait" is very prevalent in the medical field.  So many different reasons, but mostly it is to gain "perfect timing" for the healing to process.  If you were to remove an organ prior to proper testing...it may be revealed, that in fact, it would never have been necessary.  I have known many women, who during their menopausal stages, seek the all too huge process of having everything removed.  Well, maybe trying to keep one ovary intact, for the estrogen/progesterone equalities.  And then, there are reprisal effects to involve other attached organ areas, and soon there is a myriad of continuing surgical procedures to correct the original one.

The need for "waiting and watching" requires additional strength in His promises.  Naturally, this is not only prevalent to medical issues, but our everyday living.  Be of good courage, He knows everything, He is omnipresent.  He goes before you in every place of your life.  He says this to us again:

Isaiah 40:31 "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength: they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk, and "Not Faint". (this does not really mean fainting as we know it in a medical venue...but better to say "Not Weakened")

We cannot live by the "what ifs" in our lives.  He knows what His Purpose is for you, and then gives you the the choice to make it, in His Free Will.  He Loves us so unconditionally...and that is something many of us never receive from each other.  We need to use our time wisely.  Offer His Love and Light that surrounds you.   He gives so much in return.

Oh, and by the way, this is not new in today's world alone.  Remember Adam and Eve?  When Eve persuaded Adam to "sin" against God's Will, this is what He said:

Genesis 3:13 "The Lord God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?"  The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate." (this is the very first sin of man)

But then...He waited...and sent His Son, Jesus, in His Fullness of Love for us. He offered His own Son to die for us and then, the "wow" factor came to offer His Resurrection of a promised eternity.  God waited too, until the Perfect Timing.

ANGELS AMONG US...SINCE CREATION

"THE ANGELS SHOUTED FOR JOY"

Job 38:4-7
The Lord spoke to Job
vs 4 "Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation?  Tell me if you understand."
vs 5 "Who marked off its dimensions?  Surely you know!  Who stretched a measuring line across it?"
vs 6 &7 "On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone....while the morning stars sang together and the angels....shouted for joy!"

The deep thoughts of where we were for His Creation.  Do you understand, do you know?  We existed with Him during this event...surrounded by His Glory!  His angels sang with the morning stars...and His Cornerstone was laid for us.  And He asks you, who chose to "mark" dimensions and measurements on His Creation???  Our hearts have to understand what God means by; "surely you know"!

Has His Purpose been forgotten?  Has the greed and hidden marks of darkness consumed our spirits?  No, Jesus Christ our Savior is with us always!  His promise to all whom He died for and His Resurrection brought our eternity for.... His Creation!

Those angels who shouted for joy!  He provided at Creation ... they are with us still!  So many variations of His angels are among us.  Ask me how I know?  I will tell you, that without a doubt, He brings unexplained reality to us at just the right moment.  Miracles?  The clarity dwells in our understanding; He has given our very soul.

Two different star shine mornings, one after the other, I experienced some of these moments.  One was in wanting to understand, the other was wanting "my" understanding.  The lighted one, wanted His power of wisdom to understand, the other wanted to negate my understanding, from His wisdom, in darkness.  Angels among us proceed to protect us, just perfectly.  His "joy" is returned.

Angels do exist!  Stay the path for His purpose, He provides His joyful angels among us!

I am ever thankful for my friend's calls, my Doctor's caring, my family's prayers, and those additional surrounding hearts!

THE RISING STAR

2 Peter 1:19 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.

The rising star...in our hearts.  It seems that everyday I awake...there is that rising star.  Given another day to thank God for and pray for His continual guidance to those in need.

Today, I met with my loving nurse, Kim.  She is always so helpful in answers that I don't have about...well, about many things.  Not just medical, but personally understanding the place of our hearts.

Then, about 2 hours early, I was trying to find my Wound Care, Dr. Allen's office.  It is a bit trying, there are many turns and some construction pieces for rebuilding.  On the first floor, I saw this man, just a bit younger than me. ( It's like God shows me who I should speak with...within the hundreds I see.)  He was walking very slowly on a cane, and visibly in pain.  

I started talking with him and found out his name is Steve.  He told me where he was going on the 5th floor.  Exactly where I needed to go in a couple of hours.  So, I held his good hand with my good hand and we slowly headed to the elevator.  We got up to the office and he reminded me which way to turn.  Then Steve said; "this is going to be the end of me".  Well, you know how that turned out, because I do not believe that.  I shared the story of butterflies from the cocoon, and about Jesus giving his precious life for us.  I had time...he had to move very slowly.  

"We are just like those worms in a cocoon that are wrapped in His love.  And one day that morning star, will shine the light, that is needed to rise the furthest in our hearts, to Him."

When I left Steve after setting him carefully in the chair, I let go of his hand and blew him a kiss..saying "but wait...there is more"!!  I think I saw a bit of hope in him.  I am holding him in my prayers. He will be surrounded by His Glory!  I can only Imagine!
