THE BEAUTY OF HIS KEPT PROMISES

2 Corinthians 1:20-22
"For no matter how many "Promises" God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ.  And so through Him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the Glory of God.  Now it is God who makes both us and you "stand firm" in Christ.  He anointed us. Set His Seal of ownership on us and put His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit guaranteeing what is to come."

How does one thank God and all of His children for the constant promises kept?  I have decided to request a special time on this through our special radio station in Jacksonville, FL.  To honor all of those helping to fight the darkness.  It will be a "gift" given on October 20th!  Please listen to: FM Station 97.1 "The Promise" especially on that day!

His Promises are:
Always kept as a "yes" in Christ
Singing His "Amen" of Glory
Making us stand "firm"
Sealing us as His very "own"
Our hearts embraced by His Spirit

AWAKENING HIS LOVE AND LIGHT IN JACKSONVILLE,FL

Psalm 119:129-131 “Your teachings are wonderful, and I respect them all.  Understanding Your Word brings “light” to the minds of ordinary people.  I honestly want to know everything You teach.”

My heart must be beating faster than it has ever before from the wonderful “God Filled” moments of today!  It can only be His omniscient involvement, nothing else would make sense.  The “brilliancy” of His Amazing Love and Light of “perfect timing” was experienced right in front of me!  It was not a “chance”; it was pure gifting!

Reasons for everything…His reasons for everything!  For a project I started, I needed assistance from the Office Max, that I just happened upon, after leaving another business.  I did not know it was even there, but when I saw it…I was led to enter.

A young man named Jamie started to help me, but his face was filled with grief and a torment.  Immediately, a prayer was said from my heart for this visit.  He needed Jesus… 

The project I am working on, involves a verse from James 1:17.  Get it??  James….Jamie…immediately I knew he needed this “gift” God had given me with this verse. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from ‘Above’; and comes down from the Father of Lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”  (this one was handwritten on the envelope, but I really needed it printed)

Jamie held it with a softer touch and a bit of a grin.  He asked what it really meant.  I shared the Love of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit with him.  He kind of shook his head, but I have seen this many times before when sharing the truth.  No dismay, the Spirit does His work.

He shared about how difficult his life had become.  The death of a cousin so young had brought him to deep grief.  He did not really like his job that much, so I asked him what his desire was to be doing.  He said to be a cartoonist.  I actually happen to know one at my HBOT treatments.  So much was shared…such deep God guided thoughts and answers; His Words, not mine.  He gave me a card to use for contact with my friend.

It was to be a bit of a wait to complete my project, so I told him I would be back in a little while for the needed labels.  (oh, yes, did I tell you he had to enter this verse about 4-6 times, to get it the way I needed it?)  That was meant to be!

Upon my return, there was a gentleman about my age waiting to be helped.  Jamie was serving another customer, so we had time to talk.  His name is Robert.  He is a lawyer from Indiana, but living here in Florida now.  We shared our “Mid-America” experiences since I am from Illinois.  We also spoke of some medical concerns, namely auto immune diseases.  I did not specifically ask him what type he had, but knew he needed some help.  I happen to have two considered auto immune diseases, so, that fit!  We spoke of some diets and exercise programs, and he asked if I would share more information via e-mail.

Jamie was now available.  Robert was very patient and watched Jamie doing his “magical” work for my project.  And he overheard our continuation of God’s Love and Light.  Towards the end of helping with me, I again brought up his desires of an occupation.  His “gift” I could already envision from my own needed project.  Then Robert heard Jamie say he was also involved with “graphic designs”.  This started a whole new “open door” because Robert has a great connection through his own position. 

There is to be continued communication now between, Jamie, Robert, and myself.  Robert has requested this young man’s resume and spoke about a position that would more than quintuple his current pay rate.  I could tell you, a flash of something came through, because Jamie’s eyes lit up with a huge smile now filled with joy!  He said it would be wonderful to able to afford to buy fresh vegetables.  Fresh vegetables?  Yes, imagine that one.  He helps his family and friends with rent and other expenses, and now God willing, he will be able to eat healthier.  The largest part of this is, he asked me my name again, and wants to talk some more about Jesus.  And we pray!

"THRIVING" THROUGH PRAYERS WITH HIM

I Thessalonians 5:16-18
"Be joyful always; pray continually;give thanks in All circumstances, for this is God's Will for you in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Prayer...a generation of Love for His Word.  It becomes sometimes, "unspeakable joy"!  

I called a dear friend of mine who also has aphasia.  She had a stroke 12 years ago.  Although she has spent numerous hours with a Speech Pathologist and many "helps" to overcome this trial...her speech is very daunted, slow, and sometimes difficult to understand.  Yet, when we speak, I know she needs my speech to be more at her level for understanding.  She and I became friends through ARC.  I made mention of playing the game called "Charades" in the beginning portion of my aphasia after brain surgery... this caused some fun and enjoyment while slowly improving.  She saw this comment from me and responded...Joan, my name IS Charade!  We have been "kindred spirits" since that time.  And we pray....

There is a special woman whom I met yesterday...my heart cries out for her!  Diane, has some type of neurology problem and is still undiagnosed for now.  She was wrapped in "fear" of the unknown.  I spoke with her, she shared her "gift" of writing with me, but now seems so unattached.  Her husband was by her side.  His eyes looking at mine were a silent echo of please...please "help" her.  We shared our pain, our hope, our love of this "gift".  I shared His Love, His Light, His Joy..held her hand..asking the Lord to guide us in "understanding".  And we pray....

Prayers...praying everyday...all day...when we wait on appointments, wait on a stop light, when we wait....we can pray!  Thinking about the "wait time", it is not so bad after all; it can bring the precious time to remember ...to PRAY!  

Psalm 42:8  "By day the Lord directs His Love, at night His song is with me - a prayer to the God of my life."

The latest and again most wonderful news on "this side of Heaven" to provide the hope towards healing!  The "Florida Times-Union" newspaper article by Charlie Patton, is above this sentence.  God is increasing the "gift" He gave Dr. Ricardo Hanel, this time through a new Clinical Trial to treat aneurysms in large blood vessels of the brain.

I am always "amazed" at the mornings I go for my treatments at Baptist Health Center in Jacksonville, FL.  The buildings are composed with a "sister" relationship right next to each other.  Lyerly Neurosurgery, Wolfson's Children's Hospital, and the support areas to include Pharmacy. They even have a Library with some helpful reading materials and a quiet place to pray in a small Chapel.  Each morning, I am greeted with smiles from the Staff, Doctors, and Nurses, it feels like a bit of "Heaven" to walk for my coffee.

Encouragement is always available here!  Questions are answered at their best.  There are always questions that need a bit of "research" as well.  One of my nurses is helping with that on our Idiopathic Hypertrophic Cranial Pachymeningitis page in Facebook.  She has already posted over 4 new reports of information that we patients have been able to use.

Without having the current permission of posting the more specifics on so many, I will ask for it and post if possible about the "angels here, on this side of Heaven"!

Today, I mentioned something after my HBOT treatment that came to my mind.  My doctor was in the chamber area with someone else, and he seemed interested to my proposal; a possible answer of a difference I am experiencing.  He said with a smile, yes, we ought to try this.  So, when the trial is over, I will have something "hopeful" to post on again, later.

HE LEADS WITH HIS HEART....TRUSTED FROM LOVE

2 Corinthians 4:6
"For it is our God who commanded light to shine out of darkness,  who has shown in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the Glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

Every once in awhile, there are times in our lives when He says, you need to go somewhere else for a time, to take care of His Plan for you.  Suddenly, and without much of a moment more than "silence", I had to make this decision.  I prayed.  I prayed again, I walked with Him through the darkness surrounded with His lighted areas.  And, I prayed again.  The answer came from His heart to mine.  I needed to leave Jacksonville to take care of other areas in my life.  And so very abruptly, I did.

I trust Him!  I Love Him!  I followed His course and the areas of a situation became blessed in the end.  Some needs require only you to follow.  You and Him.  There will always be these times He may need something addressed.  If we follow His heart with ours, then the Blessings are set before us, and we can carry on.

The list of priorities on this journey remain the same.  His healing is already started through my trusted Doctors and Medical Care in Jacksonville.  So, that is on His course with a few minor changes occurring.  Most importantly, is continuation of His Purpose.  All the other parts, I have laid at His feet, because I do not "control" those destinies; He does!

This time became a "resting" place for me...for a short time.  It was like Him telling me, "be still" and know ME!  The time I was able to spend with my children and grand-children lightened my heart!  Prayers with them and many of my friends as well, gathered His strength for me.

And then...yet again, there are His Angels among us!  Sharing their strength, their love, and their hearts in times of need.  The very part of my blog here, became at "risk" and although, it may not seem like much to many, this is a part of what He wants me to share, it is full of His truth and trust!  Through many attacks on this site and many other areas as well, He sent His angels to help!  I am so thankful and full of "joy" to experience this help and almost ethereal love.

This sharing is a continuing part of me....and Him!  From the depths of my heart and soul and spirit through prayers with Him, my life continues.  I will "never" give up, not on my journey that is so guided by Him.

I have always wanted to see the Aurora Borealis. Perhaps someday, He will allow this to happen!  He created it through His "hearted" Love for us, it is filled with light He created!  He will always shine through the darkness!  There is no mystery about Him!

"I thank my God upon every "remembrance" of you, (America), always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy; for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a "good work" in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the "defense and confirmation" of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of Grace."

This morning, I prayed for many needs.  I prayed for the remembrance of this Country, and my own sweet loved ones.  On this day, America, again is recalling the heightened measures our country has experienced.  He is watching over every one in this World.  May the joy, peace, love, and determination never fail our "America" that was built upon His Word.  It is with the unfolding of His Love and Light that extended so much to the World itself.

In Remembrance, early, when the stars had twinkling still shining, I lit my candles for my loved ones with another...and most especially mentioned the America we so love.  He is with us always....never give up the hope that travels along our pathway called Freedom.
